I recently landed a job at a corporation that has been on the top of my list since my graduation. I successfully made it through the first and second interviews, and just finished my third in-person meeting with an executive associate. It has been two weeks since we last connected, and I have not heard anything back from their human resources department. Should I keep following up by email, or patiently wait for their response? Also, I sent a thank you note after my first formal interview, but not my second or third. Is another note in order? Thank you.

Dear Jessica,
Congratulations on making it this far, which is no small feat! Your next steps depend on when you were told a decision would be made about the position. For example, during the third interview, did they provide a timeline for their decision-making process? Now would be a good time to send another email to the person(s) who conducted the third interview. I often recommend asking about the preferred method of follow-up during the interview process as well. In regard to the thank you note, every interview requires a thank you note. I suggest you send one today to those that did not receive one previously.
